This project aims to promote trees and forests by photo and info on a worldwide scale. Mainly the project will include remarkable trees, that appear significant for their size, age, rareness, aesthetic value, as well as cultural and religious importance.
Besides, the project will consider trees met unexpectedly that show all their charming, regardless of their renown already acquired.
The trees will be reached by the most environmental means available, limiting the ecosystem disturbance as much as possible.
Phototrees.com is a space where the trees are proposed with a more realistic representation. While in its twin website, arsilvae.com (ars + silvae, in Latin = forest art), the images showed are developed with a more artistic approach.
